Manchester United midfielder, Park Ji Sung has agreed to sign a new contract for one year. It makes him remain in Ferguson’s squad at least the end of the 2012/13 season. The South Korea star joined Man U from PSV Eindhoven in 2005.
Ji Sung is happy with this contract and delight to be a part of Ferguson’s squad. Sir Alex Ferguson confirmed that Man U will offer a new contract to Ji Sung during United's pre-season tour of North America. The 30 year old player is willingness to sign the contract.
Ferguson thinks that Ji Sung is a part of an important player while he build up a young team for Man U. Ji Sung was a part of Man U squad in four league title triumphs, plus three League Cup wins and a FIFA Club World Cup. For Ferguson, Ji Sung has experience at domestic and international level is invaluable for the younger players.
