Mexico Is A Champion Of World Cup Under 17

Mexico is a champion of World Cup Under 17 after beat Uruguay 2-0 yesterday at Azteca Stadium.  Mexico’s goal scored by Antonio Briseno at minute 31 and  Giovani Casillas at the second half injury time. 

Mexico is still celebrate with the success of the senior team to be a champion of CONCACAF Gold Cup defeated United States 4-2 in the final in California two weeks ago. 

Mexico had been a champion of World Cup Under 17 on 2005.  However, Nigeria won this tournament 4 times and Brazil won this tournament 3 times.


Briseno scored the goal after head the ball passing goalkeeper, Jonathan Cubero.  Then, Casillas scored the goal by counter-attact at minute 2 during injury time.

Besides that, Germany defeated Brazil 4-2 for the third place.
