Japan Is A Champion Of Women World Cup

Japan celebrates their success to be a champion of Women World Cup for the first time in Germany.  Japan become a champion after defeating United States, two times former champions by penalty determination 3-1.  Many Japanese people gathered at Shibuya road in Tokyo to wear blue jersey and shouted “Nippon! Nippon!” after the final game ended.


“Nadeshiko, World Number One”.  The word becomes a headline by the influential daily newspaper,  Asahi Shimbun and Yomiuri Shimbun in Tokyo.  Nadeshiko is a pink flower in Japan and it is recognized  a sign of pretty woman.  This is referred to the success of Japanese woman’s football team become a champion.

The success is the first time for the asia country and it is recognized to give more inspiration to Japan to build up new life after tsunamy and earthquake tragedy on Mac, 11.
